พอดี(อีกแล้ว) ได้มาเจองานเข้ากับเมนบอร์ดรุ่นใหม่ๆกับ CPU รุ่นใหม่ เลยนำมาแชร์ครับ

ใครจะไปคิดว่าเมนบอร์ดที่ว่ามี on board vga จะไม่สามารถใช้งานได้ หากเลือก CPU ผิดรุ่น

• เรื่องของเรื่อง คือ Mainboard Gigabyte รุ่น GA-H55M-UD2H นั้น หากเรานำมาใช้กับ CPU ตระกูล i3,i5,i7 ทั้งหลายที่ไม่ได้มี Integrated HD graphics controller แล้วหละก็ port display on board ทั้งหลายก็จะไม่สามารถใช้งานได้เลย
• อาจจะมีเครื่องหมายคำถามตามมาว่า แล้วเราจะรู้รุ่นไ้ด้ไงหว่า ว่า CPU รุ่นไหนจึงจะมี Integrated HD graphics controller มาด้วย คำตอบคือ ผมถามรุ่นมาแล้วนะ คือ  CPU Intel รุ่น BX80616I5650 แต่ว่าดันถามมาแต่ CPU Intel ตระกูล i5 ต้องขออภัยด้วยนะครับ ส่วนรุ่นที่ไม่มี HD graphics controller คือ bx80605I5750
• อีกประเด็นที่อาจจะสงสัยเป็นปัญหาตอนเริ่มสำหรับมือใหม่อย่างผมคือ หากจะใส่ RAM นั้น ขอให้ใส่ที่ช่องเสียบ (slot) สีขาวก่อนนะครับ มิใช่ สีฟ้า นะครับ ไม่งั้นเครื่องจะ boot ไม่ขึ้น แต่ก็ไม่ร้องนะครับ
• ส่วน Driver สำหรับ Windows 7 ก็มีมาในแผ่นเรียบร้อยแล้วครับ

I normally assume that the new models of HP desktop have already armed with Windows Vista driver.

ปกติแล้วผมก็คิดว่าเครื่องรุ่นใหม่ๆของ HP ก็ควรจะมี driver สำหรับ Windows Vista มาให้พร้อมดาวน์โหลดได้เลย ไม่ต้องมานั่งหาหรือเช็คเหมือนกับ Windows XP ตอนแรกผมก็ไปตาม link นี้เลยครับ

ได้ driver มา 4-5 ตัว กะว่าสบายแล้วงานนี้ ไม่ต้องนอนดึก แต่ฟ้าไม่เป็นใจหรือประมาทเกินไป มาคราวนี้ HP ทำผมงงตอนประมาณเที่ยงคืนครับ เพราะเครื่องมองหา driver ได้ไม่ครบขาด driver สำหรับ ethernet interface หรือ LAN card ไปนั่นเอง งานเข้าเลยครับ

อากู๋ก็เป็นที่พึ่งของผมเช่นเคย เจอที่นี่

ว่าให้ไปดูรายละเอียด spec แบบลึกๆที่นี่

บอกไว้ว่า desktop รุ่นนี้ใช้ chipset NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i ก็เลยมาตาม

ก็ติดตั้งได้ลื่นไหลไม่เจอปัญหาใดๆนะครับ เห็นราคา PC สมัยนี้แล้วก็ดีใจนะครับที่ลดลงมาเยอะเลย สำหรับเครื่องนี้สนนราคาประมาณ หมื่นก�

Tip เล็กน้อยระหว่างขั้นตอนการติดตั้ง

• งานนี้ไม่จำเป็นต้องต่อ driver สำหรับ SATA เลยนะครับ
• เวลาลง driver จอเสร็จให้ restart ก่อนเลยนะครับ อย่าเพิ่งปรับเปลี่ยนค่าการแสดงผล มิฉะนั้นจอจะกลายเป็น mode 8 bit

ข้อสังเกต

ผมไม่ค่อยถนัดกับปุ่ม power ที่วางไว้ด้านบนแบบนี้เลย บางทีเผลอไปโดน เครื่องก็ shutdown โดยพลันครับ

ปุ่ม power on จะอยู่บริเวณสันเครื่องด้านบนครับ แต่ไม่มีปุ่ม reset นะครับ กดปุ่ม power ขณะเครื่องทำงานจะเป็นการปิดเครื่องนะครับ ต้องระวังดีๆนะ ead

The power button is located at the top of the case but there is no reset button. If you push power button while the pc is running, it will power off the pc. So, be careful.

และแล้ว driver สำหรับ Windows XP ก็ทำให้ผมได้ประสบการณ์เพิ่มอีกแล้วครับ เพราะเครื่องรุ่นนี้มาพร้อมกับ FreeDos และที่สำคัญไม่ได้มีแผ่น driver มาให้ ผมว่านี่คือข้อหนึ่งที่ทำให้ผมรักเครื่องประกอบเองมากเลยครับ แต่อย่างไรก็ตามผมก็ค้นพบขั้นตอนเบื้องต้นในการแก้ปัญหาว่า

1) ให้ทำการค้นหา spec โดยละเอียดของ PC รุ่นที่ต้องการ

2) มองหา mainboard chipset ว่าเป็นรุ่นใด แล้วทำการค้นหา (google) driver สำหรับ chipset ดังกล่าว

3) ดาวน์โหลดและทดลอง drivers ที่ค้นเจอ ถ้าโชคดีอาจจะใช้ได้เลย แต่ถ้าโชคไม่เข้าข้างอาจจะต้องลองหลายตัวหน่อย ead

4) ขอให้โชคดีครับ

ส่วน driver modem อาจจะลองโหลดที่นี่ครับ (รุ่นไม่ตรงไม่ต้องตกใจครับ ลองโหลดไปลงดูก่อน)

Once again that I have learned from the PC that comes with Free DOS. Most of brand PCs that comes with FreeDOS will not provide you any driver CDs for Windows XP or Vista, that may cause you in a trouble. However, I have learned from this PC that

1) Start to searching for the detail specification of this PC.

2) Looking for mainboard chipset model and then searching the drivers of that model, in this case “Intel® 945GC Express Chipset”.

3) Try each drivers you have found and do not to restart machine after you have installed drivers, because some drivers need to restart machine before it starts working.

Surprisingly, that we cannot found the driver for this PC on HP website.

โดยส่วนตัวผมชอบคอมพ์ประกอบมากกว่านะครับ เพราะว่าไม่ต้องกังวลเรื่องไดรเวอร์มากนัก แล้วก็เลือกส่วนประกอบได้ตามใจชอบ แต่ในบางครั้งตามบริษัทห้างร้านก็ต้องการความหรูหรามียี่ห้อของคอมพ์แบรนด์เหมือนกันนะครับ :cool

Personally, I love a la carte PC because they always come with driver CD but in case of the company images we may not avoid the brand PC.
