And now it’s time for 2.1 iphone firmware, with the help from PDAMobiz and Smart-mobile.. My classic 16 GB iphone is now armed with 2.1 firmware and also custom THAI keyboard. From my bias feeling, I think 2.1 is faster than 2.0.x. :)

และแล้วก็ได้เวลา update เป็น 2.1 สืบเนื่องจากต้องซ่อมเครื่องให้พี่ที่ออฟฟิศ ซ่อมอยู่หลายวันก็ไม่หาย เลยตัดสินใจรอให้แบตหมดแล้วก็ up firmware เป็น version 2.1 ซะ เลยเกิดกิเลสมาลองทำกับเครื่องตัวเองบ้าง เพราะรู้สึกว่าเหมือนจะทำงานเร็วกว่า 2.0.x นะ สุดท้ายนี้ก็ขอขอบคุณ PDAMobiz และ Smart-mobile ที่มีคำตอบดีๆให้เสมอมาครับ

ป.ล. ช่วงนี้ก็จะยังหายหัวบ่อยๆนะครับ งานเยอะเลยไม่ค่อยได้ update blog มากนัก ประกอบกับมุขก็ไ่ม่ค่อยมีด้วย 5555

Finally, I decide to upgrade my iphone firmware from 1.1.4 to version 2.0 even though the 2.0 still have some limitation suchas typing thai capability. Thank you pdamobiz and thaiiphone forum for all guiding and information.

If some of you would like to know how to upgrade iphone to version 2.0, you can go through on this or this guide (but unfortunately it was written in THAI).

The major changes that I have found are

• Better than 1.1.4, I can read Thai on several websites that do not use Unicode Fonts.
• Thai Fonts are already embedded in firmware 2.0 and Thai keyboard is now under developing.
• There is built-in screen capture application. You just press home button and power button simultaneously, then your screen will flash. That’s all. Your captured screen will be stored in camera rolls.
• You can delete multiple emails at once. (as shown in the above figure)
• Bosspref still available on firmware 2.0 – otherwise you will surprise with your edge service fees, because iphone will connect to edge service unintentionally.
• etc……
